4.29. Post Office

This on-again-off-again structure was resurrected one last time to replace the gas station, which got moved back to its original spot next to the freight station. It's a scratch-bash, using materials mostly from American Model Builders #623.

The roof is made by bonding fine brass wire in the laser-etched marks, and covering everything with aluminum foil.

Reference

The Rupert, Vermont post office is as cute as a button.

Mail boxes haven't changed since the 1930s.
