4.24. Pratt Pony Truss Bridge

I scratchbashed an open deck pony truss road bridge for the Mountain Vista Railroad.

That bridge was too large and modern for this layout, so I scratchbashed a new one on 12 May 2021; it is likewise an open deck pony truss. The shortened trusses are from Peco (NB-38); the deck from an Atlas through plate girder bridge; the guardrail lattice is Micro Engineering with Evergreen channel stock.

After painting the bridge, I attached a deck made of aluminum micromesh, on 16 May 2021.

I fabricated abutments and installed the bridge on 19 May 2021. (It remains removable so that I can make the river.)
