5.2. Stockton Freight Depot

Model

This healthy-sized freight depot, originally planned for the layout in its first incarnation and resurrected for the second re-reboot, was bashed from a couple of Cornerstone Water Street Terminal kits.

Reference

Abandoned freight stations became especially interesting to me after I explored one in Doylestown, PA, many decades ago. Similar in design to my kitbash, this one offers a good reference for aging and filled-in windows and doors; I also like the brick color:

Ultimately I want the structural decay to be about midway between these two examples:

Disposition

The building was moved from the lower loop to the upper corner, replacing Haber Manufacturing. Also, the office had to be rotated back to the kit's original orientation in order to fit the new location.
