4.6. Stephen A. Greene FurnitureModelThis building flat is a mish-mash of old kitbashing concepts. Although the kit used is Cornerstone's Brach's Candy factory, the visual trick that I'll be employing is mounting a large rooftop sign backwards, suggesting we're looking at the back of the structure, which has the psychological effect of making the layout seem larger. The only surviving image of the White River & Northern IV where I'd first used this technique appears in a slide taken by Lou Sassi. Here I've got most of the kitbashing work completed, although there's plenty of detail work—including the sign—to be done. ReferenceOwing the the layout's redesign, the building was enlarged and abandoned, suffering acute decay along these lines: DispositionThis structure was ultimately dropped from the layout as originally designed; later, Stephen A. Greene Metal Fabrication became a combination of Tomb of the Unknown and Rearden Metal Works. ReturnCopyright © 2017-2020 by David K. Smith. All Rights Reserved | Site Map
