4.13. Stockton Station
I didn't even get as far as choosing a kit to bash for it—and, as it happens, it's just as well. All I knew is that it would look something like this one in Belle Mead, NJ:
Behind it would be a freight station, something like this one in Toms River, NJ:
But with the layout's redesign, I "razed" the two buildings down to their foundations in order to create some "negative space."
The remains of the freight station will be patterned after these in Mount Holly, NJ, including the great little freight crane:
