The image below won first place in a photo competition held by Eastern Seaboard Models.
Another image I'd submitted for the ESM photo contest (below) earned honorable mention. It's actually something of a recreation of a real-life scene from the Pine Creek Railroad—just substitute a caboose for the boxcar, and it would be perfect. From left to right: Jim (crouched under the car, adjusting the blocking), myself (working the car jack), Glenn (directing the guys moving the truck into place), Vic and Chris (rolling the truck), and some foamer, probably Mike.
And with that out of my system, I was ready to tackle a new layout. Meanwhile, Somewhere In New Jersey has a new owner, namely Eastern Seaboard Models.
