2.4. Coal Tower
This wound up being the second structure completed after the rolling lift bridge mostly because I needed to verify the spacing between chutes so I could lay the track properly. I wound up building it twice, since it was accidentally smashed while the layout was in storage. I used the main chute assembly as interior detailing for the gravel works.
I completed the second build of the kit on 21 February 2021.

This is the only Heljan product on the layout. The only kit of theirs I really liked is their corner drug store (which appeared on my White River & Northern IV), but regrettably was inappropriate for this layout. This is one of the worst-tooled kits I've had the displeasure of assembling.
Just look at the instructions—if you want to call them that...
