3.9 Water √
The water tower is a highly modified Republic Locomotive Works Nn3 kit. When I started assembling it, I immediately ran into problems—I strongly suspect RLW never test-built this kit! The instructions, as well as their product image, were their HO Scale version, and the tank assembly proved to be quite impossible. So, I constructed a brand new tank by cladding a length of PVC pipe with individual pieces of strip wood, with homemade pin striping for the bands. I also added a pumphouse made from parts left over from the fuel oil kit.
On 27 March 2020, with the completion of the roof and addition of a ladder, the water tower was at last finished.
