3.9. Stephen A. Greene Furniture

This style of industry is easy to find in Jersey City, so there were no end of reference.

The old Walthers Cornerstone Brach's Candy Factory is now sadly out of production, which is regrettable, because it's such a versatile kit. Having said that, it's not exactly "modular" in the sense that it's an easy process to expand and modify; in particular, inside corners are a real pain. Also, large assemblies of flat walls tend to be rather flimsy, requiring a lot of reinforcements. Also tricky was creating the loading bay, as the parts were not designed for it: posts had to be bulked up with strip stock. Nevertheless, I think the end result was well worth all of the extra effort.

The building flat to which the main building will be attached via a skywalk consists of parts from four Cornerstone Water Street Freight Terminal kits.
