This little slice-of-life scene demonstrates the sort of real-life humor I like to feature on my layouts.

The stepladder and extension ladder were made from cut-down etched brass ladder stock; the platform on the stepladder was a tiny bit of etched brass diesel grille.

The tipped-over paint can was a piece of styrene rod I drilled endwise with a very small drill bit. After painting all of the details, I assembled them together with some Preiser figures, one of which I handed a paintbrush made from a tiny square of thin brass.
