3.9. General Store
The general store began as a Branchline Laser-Arts welding shop kit. I made many modifications: I shortened the extension on the back, eliminated the canopy over the front entrance, changed the stairs to the second floor, and replaced the roof and some of the doors.
Since I could not find better windows that fit the openings, I had to use the originals, which inexplicably are excessively thick—as bad as those of first-generation N Scale plastic kits. But, it is what it is. The project ended before I could finish it.
