Whistle Stop NurseriesReferenceWhistle Stop Nurseries replaced two options I'd considered: John Ringo's Tavern and Lower Store. Whistle Stop won because a) it's directly adjacent to the BR&W parking lot, instead of some miles away; b) a nursery is something I'd wanted to model; and c) it would be considerably easier to build than the alternatives. I'm relocating it across the street where there's room, replacing a few boring houses in the real world. It was established in 1978, so it lands squarely in my temporal setting. The ModelThe model will utilize multiple nursery enclosures from Tomytec that I'd stockpiled for just such an occasion. As for the main building, I decided to go with something a bit more rustic: JL Innovative #320 Saw Pit Store. Then, a barn and a shed or two will round it out. The little garage from this kit might see use beside a home in Lambertville. Further ReadingReturnCopyright © 2017-2020 by David K. Smith. All Rights Reserved. | Site Map |
