Car with Wheel Off
One of the many little details I worked into the White River & Northern IV was a car with one wheel off, up on a portable hydraulic jack, with a work light underneath. The image below is a daylight scene, so you can't see the effect.
Recently I made a startling discovery in a forgotten little storage drawer: the very car in the scene above—including the jack. When I found them—after 23 years and several moves—I knew I had to recreate the scene. The only difference is that the work light will be a warm white 0402 SMD LED, rather than a microbulb.
Trivia: Anyone remember when regular was 79.9? (I remember when it was 23.9, but don't tell anyone.) Answer: the year I finished building the original gas station, 1999. A number of people have said I'm wrong, but I have proof.
