Fireplace
Like the welding effect, this was a quick spur-of-the-moment addition to the list. As I was building my cabin, I decided to see if a fireplace effect could be done easily. Answer: yes. I simply used two flickering LEDs, yellow and orange. These are LEDs with built-in flickering circuits, and can be had for pennies apiece. The windows have frosted adhesive tape applied to help capture and diffuse the light.
