SYNOPSIS
Dicker is conflicted over his decision to go Rogue, and seeks guidance from Ship's Counsellor Ufa. Meanwhile, Feline has taken some matters into her own hands.
COMMENTARY
The title of this episode is based on a real-life issue I had with the script. Despite several complete rewrites, I could not keep the Dicker/Ufa scene short enough to permit a brief battle with the Rogue Clobbernauts. So I embraced my quandary and went in the opposite direction, packing the episode chock-a-block full of talking heads. In particular, the Dicker/Ufa scene was expanded to make room for a string of jokes about idioms and figures of speech, something that became a running gag for the rest of the series.
Likewise, the revelation that Dicker was the object of affection for nearly all of the female crewmembers (another of my in-the-moment ad-libs, so to speak) became yet another running gag. Unfortunately, I was not able to exploit this one much, owing to the premature end of the show.
