Sunrise, Sunset
Although the house is completely surrounded by dense woods, I'm not totally cut off from two of my favorite photographic subjects. To the east, the driveway skirts a small field (above left) where I can easily catch sunrises, and a few hundred feet straight west is a much larger field (above right) where I can take in sunsets; often I'll carry along a folding chair so I can relax and enjoy the whole show. During the winter, bare trees add an interesting texture. Click any image to enlarge.
