Although I primarily used just two battery-powered tools, building a house still required a lot of other tools, both hand and powered. With no place to store them, in anticipation of this need I purchased a little tool trailer right before I began construction. Yes, I could have bought, rented or built a little shed for much less money, but I also wanted to be able to take my tools down to the Pine Creek Railroad to help work on the trains—which I did a couple of times. Besides, I figured I could just resell it when I was done with it. And, as it happens, I already have a buyer.
I outfitted the trailer with cabinets, hangers and lights. In the end, it turned out to be a good investment that will serve its new owner just as well.
