Although I primarily used just two battery-powered tools, building a house still required a lot of other tools, both hand and powered. With no place to store them, in anticipation of this need I purchased a little tool trailer right before I began construction. Yes, I could have bought, rented or built a little shed for much less money, but I also wanted to be able to take my tools down to the Pine Creek Railroad to help work on the trains—which I did a couple of times. Besides, I figured I could just resell it when I was done with it. And, as it happened, my helper bought it in November 2018.
I'd outfitted the trailer with cabinets, hangers and lights. In the end, it turned out to be a good investment that will serve its new owner just as well.
