Birds of the Sanctuary: Wood Thrush

There are no more beautiful-sounding songbirds than the Wood Thrush, the Hermit Thrush, and the Veery. Reclusive tree-dwellers, they're quite challenging to spot. The song of the Wood Thrush can be distinguished by a musical ee-o-lay. Regrettably, I've never heard my favorite, the Veery. Thrushes are not attracted to birdfeeders.
