So, I made it to Friday without taking a "premature shower." Now that the day is here, it'll be easy for me to wait just a little longer, as I've always preferred showering in the evening—I've never liked going to bed grungy. Ahhh, I'm practically having an orgasm just thinking about it... yeah, I know, that's a bit too graphic, but hey, try living for three years having to drive somewhere just to take a shower! I'd place a large bet you take that convenience for granted.
And yet... a part of me is terrified that it won't work. After all, the whole system was purchased and installed three years ago, never tested, and only now just finished. I suppose it's my built-in paranoia that something always goes wrong, especially about things I've been anticipating for so very long...

With the shower now done, I'm faced with a terrible conundrum: I can't use it for three days. The grout must set for 72 hours before it can be exposed to water, which is akin to dangling a steak in front of a starving man...

The issue with the septic system inspection gets stranger. The engineer who performed the initial inspection back in October 2015 never produced a sealed report, as he was supposed to have done. Since he's no longer with the firm, they're now going to perform a new inspection, and while I have no worries about passing, I do have concerns about the paper trail that supposedly follows, and the fact that it pushes everything back another 2-3 weeks (when my TCO is already over two months behind schedule).

Back online. But only because I complained loudly and regularly—things didn't happen until the ticket was escalated twice. Why is it some things don't get fixed unless we become a deafeningly squeaky wheel? It's the same with the Health Department and my septic system engineer. Speaking of... I owe both of them a few more phone calls—it's gotten quiet again.

Still offline with respect to email; the ISP is still clueless what the problem could be—or why I can upload files to my site but can't see it.
