Grump Central Archive: Week of 21 March 2021

Saturday, 27 March 2021

Yesterday was exactly as predicted, even including some nasty wind. Lots of open windows! Next week the lows will be back in the 20s.

Today it's supposed to hit 80 degrees. Strange to think it dropped into the 20s just a few nights ago. And three years ago on this day there was still snow on the ground.

I was supposed to spend part of the day yesterday with my best friend. But the son of a fellow he works with went to a birthday party and came back with Covid, and the father tested positive. Now my friend, who has two young children, has to get tested and go into self-isolation. Again. For the third time. And he'd just gotten his first vaccine shot the day before. People are so stupid and inconsiderate. I hate people, more and more each day.
