Having the stress of the election piled on top of the soap opera with which I've been dealing over the last two-plus-weeks has not been doing my health any good. A family of deer settled down for much of the day on Saturday in my ravine (two others were hidden in the trees to the right). It made me feel good that they were comfortable here. I've been listening to hunters in neighboring areas, and it sickens me; I have NO HUNTING signs posted every few feet along my property lines, and I wish I could also post signs the animals could read that say YOU ARE SAFE HERE.
