Grump Central Archive: Week of 1 April 2018

Saturday, 7 April 2018

The snow is out of the forecast, but not nighttime lows in the 20s tonight and tomorrow night.

Friday, 6 April 2018

I am tired. Tired of being denied an opportunity to retire in peace. Tired of other people having complete control of my very existence. Tired of life being a perpetual struggle—after sixty plus years of crap, it ought to be getting better, yet it's not. I am tired of everything.

Thursday, 5 April 2018

Survived the wind storm with a few more branches down, but thankfully no damage. But after enjoying a day in the 60s, we're headed back down to the 20s. And guess what? More snow is coming! I can't organize my clothes because I need all of them.

Wednesday, 4 April 2018

The forecast has been changing every couple of hours. The predicted snow was there, then it was gone, then it's there again, and temperatures are all over the map, from a low of 29 to a high of 64, with a major wind warning just added for today. No idea what to expect anymore. It's been raining on and off yesterday and today, and wind after rain is always scary.

Tuesday, 3 April 2018

The snow was gone as quickly as it had arrived. But long range forecasts call for more by Friday, along with lows in the 20s. Again. At this rate, we'll skip Spring and head straight into Summer.

Monday, 2 April 2018

Seriously? Did we all just step into the Twilight Zone? Haven't we had enough of this crap already?

Sunday, 1 April 2018

It still astounds me how we've arrived at April already. It seems is if I'd just started the Grump Reports the other day—that was December last year. Anyway, I'm off to do more volunteer work.
