Grump Central Archive: Week of 9 September 2018
Saturday, 15 September. Halfway through September, I feel as if I've barely made any progress since the nightmare ended six weeks ago. There have been a few positive signs, but not the big burst of activity one might have expected. More evidence of how indifferent I've become about the project.

Tuesday, 11 September. If all goes well, today I'll be able to start work on getting permanent electric service. I just wish I was excited about it.
Monday, 10 September. The rain continues, exacerbating my despondent mood as progress with the house feels like wading through hip-deep mud. And now hurricane Florence is bearing down on the east coast...
Sunday, 9 September. Until I have inspections, there's very little left that I can do on the house, so once again I'm at a standstill until the logjam clears. And a rainy weekend curtailed any outdoor activities.
