SYNOPSIS
Aboard Ashford's wrecked ship, Drummer finds his recording of Marco Inaros' plans to pursue targets much bigger than Tycho or Ceres. She sends the recording to Fred Johnson, who then forwards it to Avasarala. Then she commits to collecting the bounty on Marco.
In an old ship she bought on Tycho, Naomi arrives at Pallas Station and reconnects with old Belter refinery friends Cyn and Karal. Eventually she finds Filip, who is angry and unforgiving, and takes her captive with the help of Cyn and Karal.
On Mars, after Alex and Emily's date, two assailants attack and drug Alex, but the attack is interrupted by Bobbie.
Tycho's chief engineer Sakai identifies the men who purchased the container in which Monica nearly died, but security chief Bull finds them murdered.
One of Marco Inaros's "stealth asteroids" collides with Earth.
ANALYSIS
"A Belter, a Martian and an Earther walk into a bar..."
Things continue humming along in an entertaining yet unremarkable manner. Naomi reconnecting with Cyn is fun, as is the attack on Alex. Thankfully, Alex's marital soap opera is all done. And Bobbie is reliably Bobbie.
Best Scene: The asteroid attack on Earth is a convincingly terrifying sight that isn't unnecessarily dragged out.
Best Line: After Alex is attacked, Bobbie remarks that it looks as if they shook the right tree. Alex groans, "Yeah, but the trees ain't supposed to shake back."
