History in a Nutshell

Boyd Models was a hobby importer headquartered in Los Angeles, operating it would seem only from the mid 1960s to around 1972. Most of their items were imported from Germany, and some were rebranded for Boyd. The manufacturers included, among others:

N Scale Products

Principal among their N Scale items were Noch scenery materials (rebranded for Boyd), Preiser figures and scenery items, Roskopf horse-drawn carts and delivery trucks, and Vollmer building kits.
