My cardiology appointment was pretty unspectacular. The doctor dropped one medication claiming a) it was likely the cause of most of my issues, and b) I really didn't need it at this stage of the game. Obviously it remains to be seen if he's right.

Today I meet with my cardiologist. My hope is that he'll dial back on my meds to reduce the side effects that have been making my life so unpleasant these past months.

Two years ago today I turned on my kitchen lights for the first time. Big deal, right? Well, it is a big deal when 1) you did all of the work yourself, and 2) you waited years for it to happen. In other news, the dishwasher is in and running. I think turning on the kitchen lights was more exciting, to be honest!
