I've been stimulated. So, I decided to get the last appliance I needed for the house: a dishwasher. Amazing, however, that the delivery date moved ahead one full month the instant I hit the Buy Now button. Well, it's not like I've got five tons of dishes lined up I desperately need to have cleaned...

Brownies! First thing I made in my new oven. Why? It just popped into my head as a good all-around comfort food. Everything went exactly as planned, and they're delicious. I only wish I didn't feel so god-awful horrible. Hard to enjoy anything, even brownies, when you feel like you're about to drop dead at any moment...

I'm not feeling any better. In fact, worse. Much worse. I'm truly amazed at what I've accomplished the last few days, because now just getting out of a chair is a struggle. And I thought I knew what feeling "bad" was like... I was wrong. I refused to leave it sitting in the living room for who knows how long, so I put on my thinking cap and devised a way to install it all by my lonesome, even in such a dire physical state. To celebrate, I pulled another trigger: I ordered the glass doors for the china cabinet. I found that ripple glass was cheaper than frosted (what I'd wanted) and even plain clear. And then, I placed an order for some bakeware—I didn't have any, not even oven mitts. Plus, with nothing to actually prepare, I ordered some brownie mix. Wouldn't do to have a nice new oven and nothing to make with it.
