Bicentennial Man

Here's a prime example of how tastes can diverge. Bicentennial Man was by all accounts a critical and financial disaster. And yet I rather liked it. Yes, it's uneven, overly long, and overtly sentimental. But it's also exuberant, thanks mainly to Robin William's energy, it asks some Big Questions without apology, and it courageously tackles them with intelligent humor. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to be obvious.
